It all started back in 2017
We were convinced that debt collection could be something entirely different from what the industry had offered so far: simpler, smarter – and better for everyone involved.
From 💡 to 🚀
The problem we wanted to solve:
For small and medium-sized businesses, unpaid invoices are a real burden. On average, they spend three weeks a year chasing outstanding payments. And in Europe, around 10% of all invoices never get paid. The total amount of unpaid claims is a staggering €10 trillion – equal to the entire economy of France, Germany, and the UK combined.
The cost of this is enormous. Following up on unpaid invoices costs European businesses over €275 billion every year. One in four bankruptcies in the EU is linked to cash flow issues caused by late payments. We wanted to change that.

Our solution.
We saw how accountants and businesses were stuck with manual, outdated tools – and how traditional collection systems simply didn’t fit into their daily workflow.
That’s why we built Kravia to plug into the tools accountants and businesses already work with. And in 2021, we launched the Kravia Partner Program for accountants.

Since then, we’ve collected more than EUR 500 million on behalf of our customers. Today, we’re a team of 140+ people, across three countries with eight nationalities. We’re proud to build a solution – and a culture – that makes debt collection more human, more efficient, and more value-creating for everyone involved: end customers, accountants, and the systems they work in.

Our ambition is simple: to become the preferred partner for the accounting industry in the Nordics – and eventually, all of Europe.We’re not here to be just another debt collection company.
